- We use digital photography, intraoral cameras and digital x-rays to plan and track your dental progress. If you are interested, we will gladly go over these with you and can even give you pictures to take home.
- We are open late hours and can on occasion see patients on Saturday to accommodate your work schedule.
- All treatment rooms are equipped with a TV and VCR for you to watch during treatment. We have some films in the office and you are welcome to bring your own movies. If your child is the patient, bringing his favorite video can be a good idea.
- We do our best to minimize your waiting time, but sometimes dental emergencies make us fall behind. If such an event happens on a day that you are in a special hurry (Murphy's Law, right?) please let the front desk know.

Digital X-Ray Soft Tissue Laser Computerized Anesthesia Digital Camera
Digital X-ray
Until recently, our only option when taking a dental X-ray was the exposure of a small film packet, which then took between five and ten minutes to develop. Now, the digital era has brought us an exciting new technology called digital radiography.
Digital radiography has many advantages over traditional X-rays:
- It's faster
- We can view images instantly
- There's up to 90% less radiation
- We can enhance images in a variety of ways to improve viewing
Soft Tissue Laser
Lasers have become part of our daily lives; they're in our computer, and we see them in the grocery store when we buy our food. Now, with new advancements in technology, lasers have become an important part of dentistry as well.
A number of different kinds of lasers are used in dentistry, and they are particularly useful in treating the gums and soft tissue problems. The benefits of laser treatment include:
- faster healing
- less bleeding
- reduced swelling
- it speeds up the healing of canker sores and cold sores and reduces pain
Computerized Anesthesia - Compudent: The Wand
The compudent system, featuring the Wand, is a new computer technology that helps reduce the discomfort associated with anesthetic used to numb your teeth before treatment.
The key to its effectiveness is a computer-enhanced pump that controls the pressure and volume of the anesthetic. As anesthetic begins to flow, the computer automatically produces tan optimum flow rate.
Digital Camera
One picture can be worth a thousand words. That is why we use the digital camera. Together we can better see what is in your mouth and identify the problem. You do not have to sit with your mouth open for a long time. Everything is seen on the computer screen.
The digital camera helps us do a cosmetic imaging. It is a computer simulation where we can explore the possibilities of treatment and predict the results without even touching your teeth.
