White Fillings

Helen came for a regular check-up appointment and said that she had a slight sensitivity in the lower right area of her mouth. The dental exam showed two old metal fillings on her teeth. One filling was broken in the middle and both of them had gaps between the fillings and the tooth. These gaps were big enough for bacteria to get under the metal restorations and grow and multiply, eating away the teeth. If untreated this type of problem could lead to severe tooth pain and Root Canal Treatment.
The Treatment
Dr.Lipetsker carefully removed the old metal restorations and cleaned the bacteria from the teeth. Then she put the special material to chemically glue new white fillings to the teeth. These restorations not only restored the teeth and made them look natural but also made the teeth strong. Helen's treatment was done in one 45 min. appointment.
