Christine's Story
Christine is a 40 year old elementary school teacher with multiple dental problems. For years she returned to the dentist every few months to repair and re-repair old fillings and chipped teeth. She came to Dr. Lipetsker looking for a definitive resolution of her dental condition.
The Diagnosis
Christine had couple of missing teeth restored with an old bridge and several teeth with patchwork type repair. Most of the teeth had been incorrectly treated with fillings instead of crowns, leaving the teeth unable to handle the pressure placed on them. The aged fillings had darkened in color, giving the teeth a displeasing appearance.
The Treatment
Dr. Lipetsker fabricated a bridge to cover the gaps where Christine had missing teeth. At the same time Dr. Lipetsker replaced the faltering fillings with more durable crowns. Some of the remaining teeth were covered with veneers, such that the entire mouth had a harmonic, natural appearance. The treatment course took two appointments, three weeks apart. Since the treatment, Christine has only returned to the dental office for semi-annual hygiene appointments
